Hooked on vintage?
From the back panel of a vintage subwoofer to a one-of-a-kind wall hook piece — perfect for all your hang-ups or a special gift for your favorite music enthusiast!
The 120-watt Optimus SW 10P subwoofer was offered in the 1995 Radio Shack catalogue for $399.00. Although the one I found had been trashed and could not be used as originally intended, I just refused to let it die. After some deconstruction, lots of grinding and a few tweaks here and there, I managed to save the back panel and repurpose it.
Hang it in your home theater to hold cables; near the front door to catch keys; in the kitchen or powder room for hand towels; in your dressing room for jewelry; or perhaps in your studio as the perfect place to hang your 21st century headset. (These are not the type of hooks that would accommodate big heavy coats.)
The hanger measures approx. 10″ wide by 12″ tall from the very top to the bottom of the (3) steel hooks. There are two metal keyhole hangers attached to the back. The piece is in good, used vintage condition with minimal wear marks.
