From wall mirror to vanity tray
Used as a wall mirror or a vanity tray — this upcycled Pioneer turntable platter will not disappoint! In the past, when I would find the rare vintage turntable platter with the strobe dots on the underside, it would just about kill me to repurpose the piece and not feature the dot design. But those days are behind me.
This mirror design brings the strobe dots to the forefront! It works as a wall hanging and also as a mirrored plate/tray to showcase your favorite candles, flowers, or just about anything you love. (This would be a showcase tray, not a tray with handles that you would carry.) For a great looking mirror, try hanging it over a vanity/dresser, in an entry hall, a kitchen, a music room or home theater.
The item measures approximately 12″ and the mirror is a 10″ round with a beveled edge. The mirror is ringed with a section of audio cable. The turntable platter is in very good vintage condition with minimal wear marks. It has been retooled to allow the mirror to sit flat against the platter.
I have included one yard of black ribbon threaded through the back of the mirror. It can be tied and featured as in photo #2 or cut short and hidden as in photo #1. It can also be removed easily.
