SOLD: They don’t come along very often, but when I found a pilot headset headed for a landfill, I just had to give it new life! The Aearo Peltor 7005 Headset from the late 90s was the company’s top of the line. They listed for $335 and featured a flexible mic boom and individual volume controls mounted on each ear cup.
This vintage pair had some minor fraying of the mic wire and I assume that’s why the owner tossed them. However, a little wear and tear on an otherwise beautiful set only makes them more interesting. Just imagine the stories they could tell! Whether you’re a pilot, an aviation enthusiast or simply love the look, these hooks are sure to be a statement piece in your home or office.
Use them near the front door to catch keys; in the kitchen or powder room for hand towels; in your dressing room for jewelry; or perhaps in your office. (These are not the type of hooks that would accommodate big heavy coats.)
Each black and white Headphone Hook measures approx. 9.5″ long from the very top to the bottom of the reclaimed hook. Each has a metal keyhole hanger attached to the back and the original ear pad provides a nice buffer between the hanger and the wall. These are in very good vintage condition with minimal wear and use marks. There is a very small crack where the headband connects to one of the ear cups. It appears to have been glued and does not impede movement and it is almost invisible.
